I actually use these bags for cleaning the cat litter box. The bags contain the odor well and are durable enough to hold a lot of heavy clumped litter. They work well for other small jobs too: picnic trash, and yard pickup for example. I'm sure they will work fine for diapers too.

I used the diapers on my daughter for about 6 months. They are good quality for the price. These diapers are fairly compact and as bulky as many all in ones. They are medium absorbancy. If your baby is a heavy wetter, these would not be very useful; these would have soaked through on my oldest daughter. The other drawback is that the velcro comes undone in the wash. However, they have stayed in pretty good shape. I wash every other day and these were used for every washload because they were so convenient. If they came in the next size up, I would definitely purchase them again.

I've tried all sorts of washable diapers and I was delighted when I found these. I didn't know I could be so happy about a diaper.
They fit wonderfully around the waste and the legs.
Leaks do happen but rarely...usually if you skip a change.
They let just enough moisture through to let you know that the diaper is wet and it's time to change it but not enough to get clothes wet.
They are so soft and comfortable.
They're super easy to wash.
The middle flap can be adjusted for all over additional absorbency or folded for extra absorbency in just the middle or back.
When you use the flushable liners, poop is sooo easy to clean...just peel off the liner and flush it or throw it in the diaper pail with the disposables...a little messy without the liners though.
No need for a cover in most cases...sometimes they come in handy at bed time though.
They save you money in the long run, even if you only use them one day per week to give your baby's bum a break from disposables.
So easy to put on even my husband could do it. :-)

I bought these to use on my 2yr old. I never bought them before as I felt it sort of detracted from the cost-effectiveness of cloth diapers. However he now only uses diapers for naptime & bedtime so I felt the extra cost was worth a few minutes of my time (I now have a 5month old as well in cloth so the time is worth more). It was completely worth it & I'm officially spoiled! No more dunking & scrubbing 2-yr old poop! They have had no negative impact on my septic system.

Also thought i should note, as others have, that if the child has not messed on the liner I wash them with my diapers & they usually stand up to 2 washes before falling apart. Great value.

I have the GroBaby shell is several different colors and prints. I absolutely LOVE the shell! It holds in messes extremely well. I'm not fond of aplix/velcro type closures, and I prefer snaps, but these are actually not too bad. The soaker pads are okay, but they do often leave my daughter's skin feeling wet. However, most of the time I use DreamEze fitted diapers with this shell, or even prefolds work well. I really do love the shell. It is breathable, fits my daughter well, and I've never had a leak. I highly recommend this shell for use as a cover.

I have a larger than average three year old who still needs to wear something for nighttime sleeping. The largest size diapers do not fit well enough to remain secure during the tossing and turning most young children experience at night. The product description fails to mention the weight range that the various sizes fit. The Large/Extra Large fit 60-110+ lbs (27-50+kg). The Small/Medium fit S-M: 38-65 lbs (17-29 kg).

The absorbency surprised me. I was concerned that these were tailored for older children who may experience one accident while sleeping, and was prepared for possible leaks since some nights my daughter was still soaking diapers. I have yet to have any leaking.

For those with older children who are concerned with odor and visibility, I will be honest with you. If your child does not wake up after wetting herself, by morning there may be a faint odor (after approximately 6 - 7 hours) which does get stronger as time goes by. The Goodnights Shorts also get a bulky look to them if they become soaked with urine.

If your child has only a slight bed wetting problem, these will work great for her. If your child will sleep through multiple wettings, I would make sure she is wearing baggy pajama pants so that the bulk does not show during sleepovers. If you are simply using these at home to protect the bed, I believe it would take an awful lot of wetting to actually have any leaks.

Another positive is that GoodNites brand is eligible for Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).

All in all, I am happy with the product. The only reason I did not give it a full 5 stars is because it is marketed for older children who do not want to be embarrassed at sleepover events, and the potential for bulk and slight odor does exist. I will continue to purchase these until my daughter stops the night time wetting.

My husband and I just started G-diapering our new baby two weeks ago, at 3 weeks of age. We absolutely love them to pieces. Everything about them so far has been great - fit, convenience, absorbency, looks, environmental impact, price.

Fit - These started fitting right at 8 pounds. He is now at 10 pounds and they are great.

Convenience - They are a bit more inconvenient than a disposable, this is true. But I still find them extremely convenient, even when out and about. In my diaper bag instead of disposables I have an extra pant/liner, a few inserts, and a plastic baggie. This is all I need to take care of flushing (or tossing) while out and about, and the baggie is where the cover/liner goes if it gets poopy. In fact the only place they are obviously more inconvenient than a disposable is at home, since I have to put my son down somewhere safe and take them to the bathroom.

Absorbency - My son doesn't seem to be too heavy of a wetter. They are great at containing urine and breastfed BMs. I have never had a pee leak. Occasionally the poop will get a bit on the outer cover which means the pant needs to be washed, but it has never gotten out on his clothing. We have 7 gpants which is more than enough to only need to wash every 3-4 days.

Looks - The pants are so adorable. They look like bottoms all on their own. They look great just with a t-shirt instead of the trashy look you have with a disposable diaper and no bottoms. I find myself deliberately dressing him in tees instead of onesies so that I can show off his adorable tush.

Price - They are a bit more than a disposable, but if you sign up for Amazon delivery, you get 15% off which makes them almost the same price.

Environmental impact - I am very impressed and pleased with these because I know the pee/poop is going exactly where it belongs and I'm not putting anything into a landfill. I'm not exactly a crunchy mama, but I have always been appalled at the idea of garbage in general, so the idea of disposables really turned my stomach. I am so pleased to have an option in between disposables and cloth.

Speaking of cloth, the gdiaper is an excellent gateway diaper to cloth, and in fact can be used with cloth. Shortly I will be using cloth in my gdiaper covers, as gdiaper has just released their gcloth line of inserts. Because of the awesome inner liner, there will be a very small item to wash and again the covers will only need to be washed every few days.

Overall I am thrilled with this product and would heartily recommend it to any and all.

These pads are very soft and comfortable and surprisingly absorbent. They never feel clammy and have become my go-to pads while at home. They do show through to my clothes sometimes though, so I don't often wear them out of the house.

I was a lot happier with these before I washed them since the original size was better than the size they shrunk to. While the instructions do say that the pads will shrink, I was not prepared for them to shrink from circles to ovals.

If you're using sposies, instead of cloth, these are great!! Works just as well as "leading brands" of non-chlorine dipes.
I sometimes use these when we're traveling to hotels, etc when we can't use cloth. I specifically like this brand starting at SIZE 3, b/c of the LARGER TABS that stretch more! (NatureBaby don't have the larger tabs at this stage!) Oh..and the tabs stick to the diaper when you're "wrapping" it for the trash, NatureBaby brands don't stick...annoying :(
I like Earth Best the best; these 7th Gen are more stiff, and not as absorbent.

the wipes are too dry and I find myself using multiple wipes for poop changes. I add water now, but I generally prefer 7th generation wipes. Also, I ordered unscented, but they sent scented and I don't care for the scent. The smell is "baby" whatever that is, not floral or herbal, tea tree would be better than this scent. I didn't think it was worth sending them back so I'm just dealing with it until I run out.

I was on the fence in light of the reviews, but I decided to give them a try b/c of the price and I had a gift card. They were actually as good as the good reviews. I didn't have any problems with them. I thought they were about the same size and based on the weight and number, they may just be a smidge thinner/smaller. However, I didn't notice. They are just wet enough to handle most jobs with one. I found most Huggies wipes to be a little rough and Pampers wipes to be too wet and tore easily. Luvs was right in the middle. Definitely my favorite.

I bought these for my 2.5 year old mostly for car rides, and so far they are great , they contained the mess, are very comfortable, not bulky and he likes them. With pee they have only had to hold a little because as soon as he starts he will run to the potty and finish, I would recommend them.

First, I'd like to say that I have been cloth diapering for over 5 years now. I've tried just about every type of cloth diaper and every brand of cloth diaper. I even became quite accomplished at making my own and was an approved seamstress.
Now on our third child, and having her and our 2 year old in diapers, the sewing became too much and I started looking for a brand that would work well for both of our girls. Gro Baby's work AMAZING!!! They are trim, yet the most absorbant diaper we have ever used! Not a single leak! We have been using them for about 4 months now and there's no turning back!
If you are hesitant, do what we did, try a couple. Once we were hooked we bought the Live Gro Baby set. We've sold off all other diapers and use Gro Baby exclusively!
Oh, and we've tried the disposable inserts as well. LOVE 'EM!!! They are incredible for trips out of the house, naps, night time, any time. I often turn to them when I get a little lazy on laundry. :)

My 10-year old son wets his bed every night. We need something comfortable and effective for him to wear. He's not embarrassed to wear these on a sleepover to a friend's house. They sometimes leak when he has too much urine, but normally they don't leak through (I bought a waterproof mattress pad just in case.. They don't give him a rash the way that the products more like diapers do. They hold up well - we have not had a problem with tearing or anything like that. These diapers are "genius" -- for so many reasons. One size makes them very economically attractive. My daughter is growing so fast she is out of the sized diapers so quickly and at average $18 a diaper this gets painful financially. I use these pads whenever I go out. I like that they are thin and can't really be seen through my shirt. My bras tend to be made of thin material and I like that I don't have to worry about people staring at my chest wondering "what those circles are?". I don't leak a whole lot; I always pump or nurse when I feel milk building up. But when I haven't been able to I haven't had any problems with leaking thru the pad either. Much better than disposables and more absorbent than cotton. Highly recommended!

I love this cover!! I use this with the Chinese Prefold, and it works very well. When my son was born, he was 7lb, and the smallest cover was too big for him, so you might want to wait to use it until your baby gets to 10 lb or so. But the cover is well made with good adjustablility. I can wash them in the washing machine and toss them in the dryer. I have never lanolize the this cover yet (4 months), but it works perfectly. No leak, good fit, easy to care. I highly recommend this cover to anyone.

My 10 month old will not stay still for changes and can take off tabbed diapers. Pull ups are the only way to go. She is only 15lbs but the size 4 work great! They are comfortable (no red marks like from the tab kind) and they NEVER leak. I have tried all kind of diapers in the past 6 years (eco friendly and not) and these are the BEST. The package says they are made out of 5 times more expensive materials than traditional diapers but because they don't advertise they keep the price low. Try 'em and you'll never use anything else!!

This is a great product. It makes cleaning up poop from the diaper an easy and mess free chore. Without these liners, using cloth diapers could turn out to be a real clean up job. I bought the flat cloth diapers so I can get my own fit for my son, then I laid out one strip of the Kushies liners. The liners come serrated, so you just need to tear each one along the line from the roll. However beware, the liners are not absorbent against pee, so you can not use these liners at night time, the pee soaks through the liners and the cloth diaper. I change my son right after he pees his diaper. I use one good brand disposable at night on my son, and this takes him through the night dry. However it holds poop very well, and when its time to change the diapers, you just pull the liner up, holding both ends of the liner to hold the poop in it, then toss it in the bin. It usually leaves his diaper stain free from the poop, and I don't need to handle it at all, just pull off the liner, toss it in the bin and that's it. Two liners on the diaper are much better then just one though. You can place the liners side by side on a laid out diaper, this better keeps the diaper from getting any poop on it from the sides of the liners. I definitely recommend this product, all in all its a great one, and I will be buying them again since I like using cloth and they do a great job when it comes to cleaning poop.

Love these they are so absorbent on my daughter and super soft. they do tend to pill over time, but I never cared about that really I bought them to absorb and thats what they do. they are thick, but not so much that they cause that bubble butt effect. I use these at night and have not had a leak yet, YEAH!!!!!! I have used all kinds of cloth diapers on my 6 children, AIOs, fitteds, prefolds, you name it I've tried it and these are my favorite. They have no waterproofing on them so they dry quickly in the dryer or on the line, they wash very well and would definately be able to be used on 2 or more children if cared for properly. One size of these will last a longer period of time on your little one, unlike the ones with elastic and velcro. In fact my daughter is now a skinny 21 months and 23lbs and we just started using the size mediums.
The only thing I did not like was of course the price, but I guess you get what you pay for and these are quality diapers. Save your money people and just start with these prefolds you'll be glad you did. LOVE THEM MORE ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My friend bought me a gag gift that featured pictures of hot men saying things like, "No honey, you sleep longer. I'll take care of the baby." One of the captions was a man saying "I found these new diapers. They are cheaper, good for the environment and get delivered to your house." We've been exclusively using these with our 7-month old. In addition to the benefits listed above, our son has never had diaper rash. The new design is much more generous and offers better coverage.

We have had some issues with leaking, specifically overnight, but we're not sure that this wouldn't happen with any diaper after 9-10 hours. To prevent messes, we use a diaper cover at night, which has worked very well

I love these diapers. When I first opened up a free sample of these diapers given to us at a childbirth education class, I gasped, knowing that I had bought a few cases of these diapers -these are unbleached diapers, which means that they're not white - they're a natural tan color. A friend also bought a package of these for me for use in a baby shower game, and when she opened the package, she gasped, too! Once you get past the initial reaction to their appearance, you'll likely love these diapers and won't switch to anything else. We used up the newborn pampers given to us by the hospital which I didn't like because they smelled like artifical fragrance, and we tried a store brand when we ran out of our Seventh Generation diapers, and they didn't work nearly as well. Seventh Generation's diaper is roomy and holds quite a bit of pee/poop, so you rarely have to deal with a blowout - which is quite worth the slight additional cost. Besides, if you buy these on Amazon by the case, the cost is comparable to buying regular store brands, but you're getting a better product! Another great thing about these diapers is that they don't have any sesame street or other commercial characters on them - I like to keep my kid away from as much of that subliminal marketing as I can, for as long as I can - and the natural tan color looks cute! I liked the idea of g-diapers but always thought, what's the point if your not going to save any money? But now with these great cloth inserts, you can have the ultimate cute diaper and save tons of money. These inserts are great - they have micro fleece on the side that goes next to your baby's tush, so it stays soft and dry next to the skin, then they have a super absorbent hemp on the other side. I plan to buy a bunch more to use with all my pocket diapers as well as my g-diapers.
